Safeguarding
Last updated: June 2026
ImmersaLab works with children and young people, and safeguarding is built into every session. This statement summarises our commitment; schools and partners can request our full policy.
Our commitment
- Sessions are supervised at all times by our facilitators and/or the school’s own staff.
- Staff working with children hold appropriate DBS checks and safeguarding training.
- We work in small, supervised groups with age-appropriate content and comfort breaks.
- Hardware is cleaned between users and sessions follow safe VR-use guidance.
Privacy by design
Our learning platform is designed to need no pupil personal data to run. Where any data is necessary, it is handled in line with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR.
Reporting a concern
If you have a safeguarding concern relating to one of our sessions, contact us immediately at hello@immersalab.co.uk and we will follow our reporting procedure. In an emergency, always contact the police or your local authority safeguarding team first.
